Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all events organised by Pairing Story Pte. Ltd. ("Pairing Story"). By completing your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms below.

1. Registration

All applicants must provide complete and accurate details during registration, including full name, gender, email address, contact number, and NRIC. Providing false or incomplete information will result in removal from the event without any refund, even if registration was made by a third party on your behalf.

2. Payment & Confirmation

Payment must be completed via PayNow or bank transfer only. You must notify Pairing Story within 30 minutes of payment completion. An acknowledgment will be sent via email or WhatsApp within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us promptly to follow up.

3. Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period applies under the following conditions:

  • Local events (S$12 and above): A 2-day withdrawal window applies if payment was made at least 7 days before the event date. A full refund will be issued within 5 business days.

To exercise your right of withdrawal within the cooling-off period, please contact us in writing via email or WhatsApp within the applicable timeframe.

4. No-Show & Non-Attendance

No refund will be given for non-attendance or no-show for any reason, including but not limited to illness, personal emergencies, or change of plans. If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a replacement participant of the same gender, subject to Pairing Story's approval. Please inform us before the event date if you intend to send a replacement.

5. Failed Identity or Marital Status Verification

Participants who are unable to verify their identity or marital status (e.g. via Singpass) upon arrival will be denied entry. No refund will be issued in such cases.

6. Event Cancellation by Pairing Story

Pairing Story reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event due to insufficient registrations or circumstances beyond our control. Participants will be notified as early as possible. A full refund will be issued within 5 business days of the cancellation notice. Weather conditions alone do not constitute grounds for a refund if the event proceeds as scheduled.

7. Removal Due to Misconduct

Participants removed from an event due to misconduct, violation of our Terms & Conditions, or disruptive behaviour will not be entitled to any refund.
