Terms & Conditions

By registering for or attending any event organised by Pairing Story Pte. Ltd. ("Pairing Story", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Eligibility
All applicants must declare and confirm that they:
- Are at least 21 years of age;
- Are legally single — not married, not engaged, not undergoing separation or divorce proceedings;
- Are unattached and not in any romantic relationship;
- Are of sound mind and body;
- Have no criminal record or history of drug-related offences;
- Are not an undischarged bankrupt; and
- Have never been blacklisted by Pairing Story.
Pairing Story reserves the right to verify eligibility at any point, including through background or marital status checks, and to reject or remove any participant who does not meet the above requirements, without refund.
2. No Guarantee of Matches or Relationships
Pairing Story provides event-based social experiences to facilitate connections between singles. We do not guarantee that participation in any event will result in a successful match, romantic relationship, or any other outcome. Results vary and depend entirely on the individuals involved.
3. Verification of Identity & Marital Status
All attendees are required to verify their marital status upon request by presenting their Singpass mobile application showing "Marital status is Single." Original NRIC may also be required for identity verification on the day of the event. Participants who are unable or unwilling to verify their status will be denied entry without any refund. Pairing Story reserves the right to inform other attendees of any unverified participant status where necessary.
4. Registration
Applicants must provide complete and accurate details during registration, including full name, gender, email address, contact number, and NRIC information. Registration on behalf of another person is not permitted unless expressly authorised by Pairing Story. Any participant found to have provided false, invalid, or incomplete details may be removed from the event without refund.
5. Payment
Payment must be made via PayNow or bank transfer only. Cash, cheque, and on-site payments are not accepted. Participants must notify Pairing Story within 30 minutes of completing payment. Registrations are only confirmed upon receipt and acknowledgment of payment by Pairing Story. An acknowledgment will be sent via email or WhatsApp within 24 hours.
6. Attendance
Participants are expected to attend the full duration of the event. Contact information for participants of the opposite gender will only be shared with those who attend the entire session. Pairing Story reserves the right to withhold contact details from participants who arrive late or leave early.
7. Contact List
A contact list of opposite-gender participants may be provided following the event. This list is strictly for personal use and must not be circulated, shared, or distributed in any form. Any breach of this condition will result in a permanent ban from all future Pairing Story events.
8. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to treat fellow attendees and Pairing Story staff with respect. Behaviour including but not limited to vulgarity, harassment, defamation, or any other disruptive or undesirable conduct will result in immediate removal without refund. Pairing Story reserves the right to permanently ban any participant for misconduct and to take appropriate legal action where warranted.
9. Age Verification & Child Safety
Pairing Story strictly prohibits participation by anyone under 21 years of age. We enforce age verification and have a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behaviour that exploits, harms, or endangers minors. Any violation will result in immediate removal, a permanent ban, and a report to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
10. Termination
Pairing Story reserves the right to deny, suspend, or permanently ban any individual from our events at our sole discretion, including where we suspect a participant is affiliated with a competing service or has acted in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of our community. No refund will be issued in such cases.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Pairing Story website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Pairing Story Pte. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of this website without our prior written consent. Any feedback or suggestions submitted to us may be used by Pairing Story without obligation to you.
12. Event Cancellations by Pairing Story
Pairing Story reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event if there are insufficient registrations or due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, participants will be informed as early as possible and a full refund will be provided within 5 business days.
13. Limitation of Liability
Pairing Story shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by participants during or in connection with any event, including any acts or omissions of other participants. Participants attend at their own risk and may be required to sign an indemnification form upon arrival. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pairing Story excludes all warranties, express or implied.
14. Changes to These Terms
Pairing Story reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in our events constitutes acceptance of any revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
